SPEAKER HOST ROLE

Generally this is performed by the Speaker Secretary or the Chairman. But sometimes another member will act as the host. If so the duties are listed below.

DUTIES

  • Check details of the speaker with Alan Oxenbury – the Speaker Secretary—arrival time, etc.
  • Meet speaker and accompany himto the hall, if necessary.
  • Introduce to the Chairman and any other Computer/Sound system members.
  • Help the speaker to biscuits and tea/coffee/water as required
  • Give a SHORT vote of thanks after the presentation.
